The peaceful hamlet of Tregoodwell is half a mile from the picturesque Market Town of Camelford, famous for the historic nearby battlefield at Slaughterbridge, the legendary site of King Arthur's nemesis in the 6th century. Camelford boasts many shops, restaurants and a couple of good pubs, essential for a relaxing holiday!
Number 15 Tregoodwell, our North Cornwall holiday cottage, is just perfection, nestling between its neighbours in a quiet little square, off an unmade lane with parking just in front of the cottage. Over 200 years old and for a time the local pub, this charming cottage oozes character with its many original features combined with a modern kitchen, bathroom and en suite!
The Kitchen / Dining room is very well equipped with quartz worktops, a warming wood-burner and a big table for all to gather around. The sitting room is really snug with white beams, comfortable seating and an open fire. The cottage style turning staircase leads to the three individually styled bedrooms, one en suite, and the large family bathroom. Outside, the good sized garden is terraced and totally enclosed, safe for children to play in, and a real sun trap of a patio for al fresco eating.
With Moorland and Riverside Walks from the door and glorious sandy beaches a short drive away, Number 15 is an explorer's paradise. An ideally located holiday cottage in North Cornwall
